Why sponsor Hot Springs Bicycle Association?
HSBA relies heavily on sponsorship from companies and individuals who believe in the work that we do to help benefit the community. Sponsors make possible all of the events we host and without them we simply could not provide the level of commitment that we currently have.
HSBA uses sponsorship money in a variety of ways but foremost is the maintenance and development of our local trail systems, parks, and national forests. Although we do 100% of the work on our local trail systems with volunteer efforts we must still provide the tools and the materials to make it happen. On a national level we work with, and belong to, organizations which require our financial support to protect, maintain and develop new trails and preserve our national outdoor playgrounds for generations to come.
HSBA also uses sponsorship money to promote and mangae our race events. In all, we estimate that the events we host, and the trail systems that we maintain, draw well over 2,000 out of town visitors to Hot Springs every year. The positive impact on our local economy is very real. Many of our sponsors are well aware of the benefits and continue support us annually.
In appreciation of our sponsors we continue to maintain beautiful trails and give back to the community through our Helmets for Kids program. Promoting safety in outdoor recreation ensures that the next generation will grow up with the same love and respect for nature that HSBA members are inspired to promote.
